2025 Summer PASS Program

The Summer PASS (Pathways to Academic Success for Students) Program is scheduled July 27 through Aug. 15. During this program, students take a 3-credit college course with Mercyhurst faculty. This year, the course offered is Theatre Appreciation (THEA 101) with Dr. Brett Johnson. Successful completion of THEA 101 will satisfy one of Mercyhurst's graduation requirements before the school year even begins! This intensive summer bridge program will ease the transition to college as students attend academic seminars, are introduced to valuable skills and resources, and engage in social activities with other incoming freshmen.
Students will live in campus housing, and all meals and activities will be provided as part of the cost of the program. The cost of the program -- $1,125 -- will be added to student's fall tuition bill.
To maintain a personal and individualized experience, the Summer PASS Program is limited to 25 attendees.
