      Join Mercyhurst University’s Department of Sustainability Studies June 16th-20th for a week-long exploration of the earth, its people, and the systems which define our ways of life. This day camp is open to students having just completed grades 6-8, and will engage them with guided lessons, crafts and activities, and a cohort of passionate new friends! Campers will receive lessons from Mercyhurst faculty on themes of sustainability ranging from green projects they can implement at home to the hidden benefits of our natural environment. Students with an interest in the outdoors, recycling, gardening, or sustainable lifestyles are invited to apply!

      This summer camp will have split time between Mercyhurst University’s main campus at 501 East 38th St, and the picturesque Glinodo Center, owned by the Benedictine Sisters of Erie, at 6270 East Lake Road.


      Camp Dates: Monday, June 16 - Friday, June 20
      Daily Drop Off Time: Between 9-9:15 a.m.
      Daily Pick Up Time: Between 3-3:15 p.m.
      Eligible Grades: The camp is open to students who have completed grades 6-8. 
      Cost: $45/camper
      Deadline to register: Monday, June 2
      Meal(s) Included: Lunch daily
